From the past few days we have been learning about reduce, reuse, and recycled, and today my partner Joshua W and I had completed this task. Our task was to create a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on things that we can recycle and also where things can be recycled in our local community.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

How I can prevent organic food waste from getting to the landfill
From the past couple of weeks we (LS2) had to create a DLO (Digital Learning Object) on how we can prevent organic food waste from getting to the landfill. In this this DLO I had listed a few things of how we or I could prevent organic food waste from getting into landfill. The thing that most captures me is feeding the pet. Feeding the pets really captures me because it was easy and also I have a rabbit which eats any green foods like leaves, grass, old carrots, old cabbage and ETC.

Tech Woodwork: Term 2 Week 2
Today for tech I had started making holes for my wheels and I had also added some small features to the hole where my wheels go. Before I got the wheels Mr Grundy gave me a long thin pole and the pole was to hold the wheel. Mr Grundy told me to cut the big pole in to 115 millimeters and I had to cut three of them. After I cut them Mr Grundy added some small parts to my locomotive and glued them. Next week hopefully my locomotive will be completed.
