This week at Tech I started cutting out the pieces of wood for my locomotive. I found the chiseling the hardest part because it takes a long time to get the marks even.
I am a Year 8 student at Panmure Bridge School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Learning Space 2 and my teachers are Ms Kirkpatrick and Mrs Anderson.

CARE Awards: Attitude: Tutor someone who needs help with an extra skill
Today I have been working with Steve and I taught him how to pronounce hard words and how to search for the words in the dictionary. I think that now he knows how to pronounce words and search words in the dictionary. I was teaching him at our house today night. It took us about 45 minutes to complete this task.
Here is the Link to a prezi that I created using the photos my sister took.

Futsal and Tennis with Martin and Nevel
Today Learning Space 2 had an exciting walk to the tennis and futsal down by the riverside.
When we reached there we had to split in to two group and they are Group A and Group B.
These are the group that we use for Kiwi Can and Kiwi Sports. I was in Group A.
We first played futsal with Martin. After we finished futsal we went to the tennis courts and were learnig abou tennis with Neville. Neville taught us some tennis moves and what they are called. This is one of the move's name, Bounce and Hit. We had a great time and I would like to thank Martin and Neville for giving us this opportunity to go down to the riverside and learn about futsal and tennis, mostly I would like to thank Mr Ogilvie for organising this event.

CARE Award: Attitude: Inter-school competition
This year for Inter-school competitions our first sport was softball. Softball was a really tough but sadly we lost all of our games. Then our next sport was Cricket which was my favourite sport. My team batted and bowled really well but our opponents were really good especially Stone fields, they have really fast bowlers.
I have shown you this for CARE awards and it is under Attitude.
