People make smoke alarms for a reason. They make it so that no one gets hurt in a fire. If you don't install a smoke alarm there could be some big consequences. As part of our inquiry we went to the fire station to learn about what fire fighters do to protect and keep the people in the community safe. When we came back we had to create a DLO (Digital Learning Object) saying what you have to do to keep you and your family safe in a fire. It's basically a message to the people around the world.

Smoke alarms detect smoke and make a beeping noice when it senses smoke. When a smoke alarm beeps you should run out of your house fast and make sure you stay out and call 111 if the fire starts.
