Today I have done a Winter Learning Journey on pests. For my task I wrote down three things that pests do and I had to read about how people in New Zealand are working to kill pests like possums. I think that these pests should be killed because...
- The pests damage New Zealand native trees
- The pests are killing New Zealand native animals like the kokako bird, Kiwis, etc.
- Pests have been killing lots of New Zealand animals / birds and if New Zealanders leave these pests in the future we will have no native birds.

Hello Sanujan, I agree with you. Pests have been damaging lots of our native trees. They have diseases that can be easily spread to other animals. Keep it up! I can't wait to see some more fantastic posts.
