Today at Tech we had a new rotation. The new rotations was Art. In our first session we were learning about pencil shading. Our art tutor (Mr Stagg) taught us different techniques to shade, E.G: To make a very dark shading our finger needs to be on top of the lead pencils.
After that we had to make a A2 paper into a A4 paper. This is how we did it, we folded the A2 paper in quarters and we got an A4. After that we had to find the center of the A4 paper and and...
1. Make two lines going across the paper to make a big "X"
( Make sure the paper is landscape)
2. After that concatenate a line from the center of the paper to the end of the paper.
This was just a practice to make 5 spaces.
After we have finished the practices Mr Stagg instructed us to find some cultural patterns and make a big square on a different but an A4 paper but this time we don't have to fold it.
Then Mr Stagg gave us a wooden rectangle shape which was smaller than the A4 paper and we had to put it in the center and trace around the wooden shape. After that the practice part kicks in and we had to make 5 spaces to fit our cultural patterns in. I managed to get 1 cultural pattern. I had lots of fun today and I hope next week will be the same.
