Argument
Body of text
| |
Introduction
State what you are arguing about
State your opinion
For or Against
|
My argument is about children under 10 years old should not be allowed to ride bike on the road. I believe that children under 10 years should not be allowed to ride bikes on the road because all children first have to learn how to ride a bike. Even some kids over 10 years old ride the bike on the footpath.
|
Reason 1
Supportive details
|
My first reason for saying this is that children under ten years old are not allowed to ride bike on the road because that might cause injuries for the child because grown up kids react fast for danger but the children under ten years old don’t react for danger and some kid don’t understand dangers. Children also don’t look out for car that are coming near them.
|
Reason 2
Supportive details
|
My second reason for saying this is that if children ride their bike on the road a if there was a big truck coming and the child trip over from his bike and if he fall on the road the truck would run over the child and that may cause the child a serious injuries.
|
Conclusion
|
As I have argued that I am for children under 10 years old should not be allowed to ride bike on the road because it might cause serious injuries.

To find out which teeth are used for biting and chewing foods. Why do we use certain teeth for biting and chewing.
Hypothesis:
I think that my front teeth would be used for biting the bread. I also use my front teeth for biting the banana.
My back teeth are used for chewing foods.
Result:
I used my incisors for biting the banana.
Banana:
I was using my molars to chew the banana.
Bread
I bite my bread with my canines and my incisors. I chewed using my molar.
My lunch:
In my lunch I had bread. I bit the bread with my canines and incisors. I chewed the bread using my molars.

The Chopstick Challenge.
Title: The Chopsticks challenge
Aim:
Use the chopsticks as a lever to carry a wine gum to 1 bowl to another bowl within 1 metre.
Hypothesis:
I think I will be able to carry a wine gum in a chopstick for 1 metre. I think I will be able to carry the wine gum to one end to the other end within 1 metre.
My diagram
Result
I was not able to carry the wine gum in the first time but I was able to carry the wine gum from one end to the other end in the second time and my partners were able to carry the wine gum to one bowl to the other bowl within 1 metre twice.

My recount on the chopstick challenge.
It was a fabulous and a magnificent day at my school. The sun was as hot as a boiling water. I felt like floating into the air when Miss Paton said that we were going to have a chopstick challenge. Our class we split into groups and in my group I had Chavda and Joshua. It was a challenge using chopstick. The rules to play chopstick if it’s your turn no one was allowed to help you, and we were not allowed take a the wine gum or the pebbles out of the bowl with our hands because that’s cheating and we had to use the chopstick to carry the wine gum.
It was my turn in the beginning. It was hard to take the wine gum out of the bowl with the chopstick but I managed to take the wine gum out of the bowl but when I was carry the wine gum suddenly the wine gum slipped and I dropped the wine gum on the table. Then it was my partner’s turn and both of my partners got the wine gum into the bowl.
The Miss Paton gave us more wine gum and I had to go first again but I managed to carry the wine gum and got the wine gum into the bowl.
Then Joshua took his time to take the the wine gum out of the bowl and he managed to take the wine gum out of the bowl and dropped the wine gum into the other bowl and then Chavda found it easy to take the wine gum out of the bowl and carry the wine gum to pour the wine gum into the another bow.
After that Miss Paton poured some pebbles into the bowl. The pebbles were really hard to take them out of the bowl but then lucky me I got the pebbles out of the bowl but sadly left the challenge and he had to go to spring into maths and Vohai took Joshua’s place and she joined with us. Vahoi need some practice to carry the pebbles.
Then we had half class challenge and Ta’an was our captain and he was an expert at this challenge but he took the pebble out of the bowl but sadly he dropped the pebble. Then it was my turn and I managed to take the pebble out of the bowl and lucky I dropped the pebble into the bowl and only two students dropped the pebbles on the table but the rest of them managed to drop the pebble into the bowl and then Miss Paton said that we were the winners and our team were shouting with happiness.

The Chopstick Challenge
This graph show the number of centimeters from where we dropped the wine gum and the pebbles. The student that dropped their lolly near the bowl was Joesph and Ta'an because Joesph had 107 centimeters and Ta'an had 106 centimeters. Hajera and Nyjah's result were simllier to each other because Hajera had 75 centimeters and Nyjah had 70 centimeters. Sky had the furthest centimeters because she had 22.Centimeters.

When we got in the hall I saw three people. There was man and two girls and the man was called Duffy and the two girls were called Siana and the other girl was called Antonia. The Duffy’s hair looked as same as a bush and he was as funny as clown.
Then they started their performance. At the start of the show there was a girl called Siana and she doesn’t like reading because she can’t read and. The other day a boy called Duffy was borrowing some book from the library to read then Siana thought that Duffy was buying some books. Then Siana went to Duffy and asked him like “Are you buying these book” and Duffy said “No, I am borrowing these book for free”. Then Duffy took Siana to the library and Duffy introduced Antonia the librarian to Siana and then Duffy asked Siana to get library card so Siana could also borrow some books from the library and she could also read. Then Siana said that reading was boring but watching T.V was fun and Duffy asked Siana some question and Duffy gave Siana some book to read and when she started reading a book she teleported to a new magnificent world. Then she began to read.
The other day Siana’s mother came then she Duffy asked to Siana’s mother to sign up for a library card but she didn’t sign up for a new card but then Duffy ask Siana’s mother her favourite thing to and she said that she liked fishing then Duffy gave her a fishing book and Siana’s mother also began to read.
|
Conclusion
Sums up how you felt about the experience.
|
It was a fantastic show and I really enjoyed the part where Siana teleported to a new world. That was a great experience I had.

My Recount Scaffold
By S.Sanujan
Beginning - this includes your hook. Start your recount with an exciting beginning that captures your audience interest levels

Yuppie! shouted very loudly with happiness to myself, when my mum said that we are going to my friend Ajhushan’s house and I can play with him on his trampoline and we also can play fighting. I thought that my day was going to be fun but sometimes me and my friend fight for real and both of us get into trouble and we had to lie to our parents so we don’t get into a big trouble.

When we arrived at Ajhushan’s house with my car it was really dark and I felt like being alone in a haunted room. Then Ajhushan came out and opened the front door of his house and he let us in. I asked my parents that can I have a sleepover and my parents said yes and I said thank you.
The next day I woke up early and I also made Ajhushan woke up. When he woke up he said that he need more sleep but I forced him to wake up. After Ajhushan woke, we went and we had our breakfast. Then me and Ajhushan went out to play on his trampoline. Our first game was the god fight. First we had to choose which god we were going to be and then we start playing. I said to Ajhushan that real god have power and we had to pretend like we have powers.
Next we made up a game called the elephant attack we had to chose who were being a elephant and who were being a human. I choose the human because human can run with two leg and the elephant can only run with four legs and Ajhushan had to bend his body and to run with four leg. Ajhushan couldn’t run and attack because no one can run with four leg. When we started playing our game Ajhushan ran and he jumped on me like a rhinoceros and I screamed so loud because he jumped right on my face.
Our next game was the running kangaroo.
The rules to play running kangaroo was that you are not allowed to hit anyone and one person had to be a truck and the other person had to be the kangaroo and the truck have to chase the kangaroo. The kangaroo can only hop like a bunny but the truck run like a ostrich. Playing all those game made us tired so we went inside the house and had a drink of water and we were really hungry and my stomach were rumbling like a T Rex roar and me and Ajhushan wanted to have some lunch so we sat on the mat and we ate all the yummy food and I said “Yum, Yum”.
After that my parents came to pick me up.
|
Conclusion
Sums up how you felt about the experience.
|
I ran to my car and I saw Ajhushan waving his hand to me and I waved back to him. He said “Good Bye”. Then we went home. I felt really excited because I might have another experience at Ajhushan’s house.
