Something I have read or watched that is like this is...	Something I know about that is like this is...	My reaction to this story is...
Something that we have read which is similar to this is called the Red Poppy and also Charge of the Light Brigade. We think that these are same because they both include bombs, people getting hurt and also of people dying	North Korea and USA are getting nuclear weapons especially bombs.	We really enjoyed listening to this story and we also feel so sad for the main character's death. We would love to hear more of these stories.

This is a google document and this is based on making connection. First Ms Kirkpatrick read us a grafic novel book which is called When the wind blows, and after listening to this story we had to go and start creating the making connecting document. Making connection has three different parts and they are Text to Text, Text to World and Text to self. Text to Text is something I or we have read or watched that is like this is this book, Text to world is something I or we know about that is like this is and Text to self is my or our reaction to this story is.
