Emily The Doubtful Girl - Character Description - 5 - 7 - 10

Emily The Doubtful Girl
Emily is little girl who wears an ocean coloured shirt and dark chocolate coloured skirt, and she is short and chubby, she also wears black outlined glasses. Emily loves to read books and has read almost every single book in the library, and since she is short she has to stand on chairs to read those books on the high shelves. Because she reads lots she is a girls who asks lots of questions. ‘How is this even possible, people can’t fly, nor pigs, however nyan, the pig from the story, can fly’. Sometimes when she gets into more reading she teleports into the story. Once she was a reading a story called Garlic and the chocolate bactory. She randomly teleports into the story, and finds flowing brown chocolate rivers and tree sized red, green, and blue lollipops. “Candies” Emily said with excitement and a dribbling mouth. She then turned around and finds a door which said, ‘Free Candies For Everyone’ Emily’s mouth opened wide and more dribbles burst out. “YUMMY” she said enthusiastically. Emily slowly went to the door and when she opened it, she finds herself back in the library and realises that the door was the ending. “NOOOO, my free candies!” she cried.

As part of writing, I wrote Character Description. we did this as 5 - 7 - 10. 5 - 7 - 10 is a procedure to write a text collaboratively with a partner. 5 stands for 5 minutes of writing as much as we can, 7 is the part when collaborative learning kicks in. For 7 we have to talk with a partner for 7 minutes. 10 stands for finishing, writing and editing minutes.

For the collaborative learning part I worked with Jack. In our writing we were to included three different types of sentences. Simple Sentences, Compound Sentences, and Complex Sentences.
For a Character Description we were to write only 12 sentences.
